I ate Omochies(=お餅) in New Year holiday.
Omochi is similar to rice.
Omochi is made from Mochi-rice and water.
Mochi-rice（＝もち米） is a variety of rice. Mochi-rice and water are pounded for a long time. Then,it is Omochi.
Also, I went to meet to relatives. I received Happy New Year's gift.Happy New Year's gift is money. Happy New Year's gift is meant blessing.
